In 2022, my daughter made the 7th grade volleyball at Meridian Middle School. We were elated that we could watch her play and support her in her hard work. We got an email from the school with the opportunity to buy MMS volleyball shirts from a 3rd party. We jumped to it and ordered 3 of them. One for her and some for us to wear to the games. 2 weeks later they were canceled due to a lack of product. We were upset, we really wanted those shirts.

I had been running my own Etsy shop (Turnbow Designs) with embroidered Christmas stockings since 2010, so I decided to see if I could make the shirts myself. We did the research, bought the products, and tested everything out. My daughters’ wardrobe now consists of all our practice basketball t-shirts for MMS. We reached out to the school and they loved the design options and low price. They allowed us to add them to the site. This is how Turnbow Threds was started.
